open Division
Our Open Division offers dancers scheduling flexibility with access to classes when they fit in your schedule.

What is an open class?
Another term for an open class would be a drop-in class; the class is taught and while corrections may be given, there is no developing curriculum. Teachers will have a prepared class which they may tailor to the dancers who attend on any given day but each class stands alone.
Students are able to adjust the class as needed based on desire, injuries, etc… This makes it ideal for a dancer who is not able to attend regularly, but also leaves an option to push very hard for a dancer who is looking for more intensity.
Adults are not eligible to enroll for the Open Division, but we'd love to have you join us by purchasing a la carte or via 10 class packs. Learn more or join a class HERE.
What is the difference between taking open classes vs. joining the Open Division?
An open class is joined a la carte or via 10 class pack and the dancer is not an enrolled student at CMB. Enrolling in the Open Division allows for unlimited use of all open and supplemental classes running during our school year as well as enrolls the dancer as a student at CMB. Learn more details HERE.
Are you ready to learn more or enroll?
While there is no placement class requirement, we do require having a meeting prior to registration. Use the form below to let us know you're interested and we will get one scheduled. We look forward to meeting with you!
