CMBA is
TEN!
And how we have grown!!

Our Beginnings
Central Midwest Ballet Inc. incorporated in May 2015 as a 501(c)3 non-profit. We did our build out at warp speed over the summer and opened our doors for classes in September with 50 students.

Studio Main's sprung floor being built.

Before we started classes, we were performing! Our first community show was as part of the Art Fair on the Square.

And now?
Ten years later we have an additional studio, alumni who have gone on to receive professional contracts, and now have 115 dancers enrolled for the coming season. Through all this, we have not turned down a single qualified financial aid request so everyone who wants to dance, CAN dance!

THANK YOU
to every dancer, volunteer, board member, Mom, Dad, staff and alumni who have made this possible.
Sharing the joy, discipline, and beauty of ballet is our passion and because of you, we've been able to do just that for TEN YEARS!

Our Future
We are bursting at the seams!!!
With a new location conveniently located just a few minutes down the street, we will have the space we need to better run our current programming and allow us to grow our summer classes.
No more costume fittings in the hallway, no more running outside to get to the other studio, no more waiting in line for the bathroom (well maybe still this one), and possibly some new classes to discover!
Our new space will give us just what we need to achieve our potential.
We want to ensure that during this transition our tuition remains affordable, our financial aid program is uninterrupted, and our non-profit continues to run in the black.

We have some fun and exciting projects coming to help us move forward wisely. Keep an eye on this page, our social media and emails for more information.

Of course, a donation of any amount gets us started off on a strong foot.
Help us move into our new home,
