Cross train ballet
Conditioning for athletes
Athletes are always looking for ways to get a leg up on the competition.
Nothing gets a leg up more effectively than a ballet bar.
For years, professional athletes, in their offseason workouts, have taken to ballet to strengthen their core, to increase their flexibility, and to enhance their balance (among many other benefits). Ultimately, these benefits make athletes less prone to injury.
From Lynn Swann to Eddie George to many others, countless athletes have stepped out of the sports arena and onto the ballet floor to improve their abilities.
Beginning in Summer 2020, we're thrilled to launch a new initiative called Cross Train Ballet: Conditioning for Athletes.
